Oh Christmas Tree

After!
During...

Before...
I'ld like to say we loaded the family up and drove into the mountains, searching for the perfect Christmas tree....but, we did find a great local tree lot and picked out a good-looking tree. I love the smell of a real Christmas tree. It's a smell that brings back wonderful childhood memories of Christmas. The kids had a great time decorating it. I had to do a little reshifting of ornaments once they were in bed...most ornaments ended up in one spot on the tree.

Elves make a visit

The other night, there was a knock at the door. On our doorstep was a Christmas bag and a note that said, "To the Robison kids. From, Santa's Elves." Inside were four pairs of Christmas pj's. The kids were so excited; and they thought they heard Santa's sleigh fly off.
The kids are at such a fun age where Christmas really comes alive and their excitement is contagious. It's fun to get their Christmas pj's early in December so they can enjoy them all month.

Peek-a-Boo

Bridger has discovered the game of peek-a-boo. He loves putting a blanket, or in this case, a hat over his head and pulling it up. He loves the reaction he receives from the audience. He recently learned how to cover his eyes with his hands; though sometimes covers his ears instead.

Thanksgiving

The new game Papa got.
Papa got a new game the boys are into.
The boy table...lets eat!
The girl table...ready to eat!

We went to Idaho this year for Thanksgiving and spent it with the Robison family. The kids love going there and spending time with their cousins. When we get together, there are a lot of little kids...13 under the age of 9. They loved going on four wheeler rides, catching bunnies, shooting guns, and everything else you can do on a farm. We also celebrated Christmas while we were there since it is the Robison's off year.
